What We Know About I Am Not Okay with This Season 2

I Am Not Okay with This is one of the most popular series that was released by Netflix at the start of 2020, attracting millions of fans who binged season one and are waiting for the release of the next season.

The series is based on a popular comic graphic novel written by Charles Foreman, which follows the adventures of Sidney Novak, who seems to be a normal 15-year-old freshman. She loves hanging out near bleachers, listening to music, and fighting with her smaller brother.

Unexpected powers

However, Sidney struggles with unexpected episodes of telekinesis, which tend to appear at the worst moments possible. While some would anticipate a teenage rampage in the tradition of using such powers to achieve petty goals, this isn’t the case here as Sidney has to learn how to control her ability and stop herself from using them and attracting unwanted attention.

The title of the series is inspired by the fact that Sydney can anticipate how some events might play out. Some cues are taken from other shows that are focused on teenagers, but I Am Not Okay with This manages to keep an aura of freshness.

A new season could be released

Since the first season ended with a major cliffhanger and a series of unanswered questions, some believe that another season will be released by Netflix. Still, the company did not confirm or deny the rumors at this point.

Some are confident that the show will receive at least one additional season as it has enjoyed a success, which is similar to Stranger Things and The End of the Fu***ing World, even if it is not exactly an international hit. Many cast members that were featured in the first season should appear in the second one, including:

Sophia Lillis as Sydney

Sofia Bryant as Dina

Wyatt Oleff as Stanley Barber

Kathleen Rose Perkins as Maggie

Aidan Wojtak-Hissong as Liam
