The first installment of the Venom series arrived in theaters back in 2018. It was released as a superhero movie based on the popular Marvel Comics character Venom. We met the character for the first time in 2007 when Spider-Man 3 producers introduced it.
Since then, some challenging work had been developed to release a spin-off. In the movies, there was also brought the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. However, producers decided it’s the best to distance Venom from Spider-Man. Even if the movie didn’t come as big and good as expected, due to fans of Spider-Man, the film had scored some of the highest numbers, with Tom Hardy reaching a lot of praise.
Recently, Venom 2, the sequel, has been announced and is under development. Rumors about who we should see as lead characters/actors, release date, plot, or other details, have been fueled some of the most significant expectations so far.

Currently, Venom 2 is under development, is speculated that the filming started back in 2019 on November 18. As for its cast, we should see some returns and new faces as well.
For example, Tom Hardy will again make his appearance as the daring investigative journalist, Eddie Brock, who has been taken as a host by an alien that gave him superpowers. Woody Harrelson, as Cletus Kasady, was brought as a host by an alien and is prone only to kill. Anne Weying will again portray by the incredible Michelle Williams, Eddie’s ex-lover, and a district attorney.
