The release of iPhone 9 by Apple is approaching, and the smartphone is already available for pre-order in several countries. We might not know for sure yet if Apple’s new iPhone will be called iPhone 9 or iPhone SE 2, but we do know pretty much certain things about it.
Ming-Chi Kuo, a tech specialist who always gets it right when it comes to news related to Apple, claims that iPhone SE 2/iPhone 9 will have the most powerful processor present on iPhones: the A13 Bionic chipset. Even iPhone 11, which is probably the best iPhone ever, has the same processor. Also, the new iPhone is a budget phone, which means in a more friendly English that it’s not necessary to be a rich guy to buy one.
Pre-order iPhone 9 and you’ll get free AirPods
Those people who pre-order iPhone 9, will also receive a free pair of AirPods, the wireless earbuds created by Apple. How do we know this? Because the iPhone 9 is advertised on a poster on a retail store of Korea Telecom, which is among the major carriers in South Korea. The poster indicates that a pair of Apple AirPods will be received absolutely free by those who will pre-order the upcoming iPhone model. Also, we find out from the poster that the official name of the phone will be iPhone 9, and not iPhone SE 2 as a lot of people thought.
Let’s face it: a smartphone without headphones these days is like a wedding without a bride. Smartphone manufacturers know this very well, and therefore it’s something usual the release of phones with headphones in one single box.
Being a budget phone, iPhone 9 will be sold at a pretty low price: $399 is the starting one. Would you buy an iPhone 9?
