The world sure needs more phones capable of generous battery life, and it’s nice to see that more and more companies are doing their best in this area. One of them is Motorola, as it’s preparing the release of its Moto G9 Plus model.
Thanks to a retail listing from the website of Orange Slovakia, we have a set of specs for the future phone. We’re glad to say that they cannot be overlooked at all.
Besides such a huge battery, Motorola’s Moto G9 is worthy of attention also for its huge 6.81-inch FHD+ LTPS display that has a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. Don’t expect to get bored while having such a display, as it will showcase beautiful photos made with the quad-camera setup that features the main 64MP sensor.
The Moto G9 phone is also running Android 10 out of the box, which is practically the best option possible. There are 4GB of RAM on board, and we have to admit that it could have been better in this area for a 2020 phone. However, the 128GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot should be more than enough.
Price: €255 (about $300)
According to the retail listing, this is the amount of money needed to pay for having the Moto G9 Plus model in your pocket. We can say for sure that it’s a reasonable price according to the specs. The rest of the phone’s configuration sounds decent as well, according to previous leaks: the presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 or 730G can easily be considered another one of the highlight. Furthermore, there’s an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP depth sensor, as well as a 2MP macro camera in addition to the main sensor of 64MP.
Motorola Moto G9 Plus will have the model number XT2087-1 and the codename “odessa”.
