Fortnite Winterfest Holiday Is Live With Gifts, Exciting Challenges, and More

Epic Games has announced its Winterfest holiday event in Fortnite, which began yesterday, the 17th of December, on Tuesday.

The pieces of news came through an in-game announcement, which appeared when players chose if they want to play the Save the World or Battle Royale game mode. The gaming studio has not released a blog post about this, so we had to wait for an official comment.

According to the in-game announcements of the Winterfest event, we will get free presents, seasonal fun, and challenges.

The challenges will probably be things such as tracking down a hidden collectible across the map, or dressing up as a Snowman, and pretty much other things with festive themes. By completing these, you’ll probably get some perks, such as an unlockable style for the existing skins.

Fortnite Winterfest Holiday Is Live And Brings Exciting Challenges

These are just rumors and predictions, and they are based on the in-game teaser for Winterfest, and, of course, what we saw in last year’s 14 Days of Fortnite.

The map of Fortnite has already been covered with snow, and the “Presents” item has arrived back in the game. Once you pick up and throw it, the item deploys a giant present, which contains a lot of rare and powerful items in it.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, Fortnite is an online video game, which is developed by the gaming studio Epic Games, and it was released back in 2017. There are three distinct game mode versions that have the same gameplay: Fortnite: Save the World, Fortnite Battle Royale, and Fortnite Creative.

In the first one, you and the other three players have to fight some creatures which resemble zombies and defend objects with things you can build. The second one is a battle royale game, where 100 people fight to be the last one standing. In the third one, players are given complete freedom: you can create worlds and battle arenas.
