Apple Could Anounce The Next Iphones On October 13

Millions of Apple fans and potential buyers are waiting to learn more about the iPhone 12 range, but according to recent rumors, they will have to wait a little longer.

Several sources have anticipated that the legendary showcase event, which took place in the last weeks of September in recent years, will be delayed for a few weeks. One source argues that the announcement will take on October 13, while some rumors also note that release windows are approaching soon and that the event won’t take place in September.

Rumors and speculations

The Apple event that took place recently confirmed some rumors which argued that the company won’t showcase the new devices for now. Fans who tuned in were able to learn more about the latest iPad models, the highly-anticipated Apple Watch 6, and the new Apple One subscription package.

Information gathered from some telecommunications companies reinforce theories related to an October release. An anonymous employee of a Dutch telecom provider has revealed that the reveal event will take place on October 13, and pre-orders will be accepted from October 16, a timeline that is reinforced by claims from other leakers.

Virtual showcase

Due to the current concerns associated with the coronavirus pandemic, Apple will hold a virtual conference event for the press. It is already known that the delay of the event was caused by the pandemic since Apple engineers weren’t able to go to China to finalize the designs of the upcoming smartphones in time.

Other rumors argue that while the presentation event will take place in October, only two of the four devices will be ready for sale within the same timeframe, with the more expensive models being delayed to November.

All rumors have to be taken with a grain of salt, and only Apple can decide what it wants to do.
